Very happy indeed to call Open Kitchen my local Chinese. The salt and pepper chicken genuinely is the best around. We frequent the pork chow mein also, proper slices of pork no skimpy little pre-cut pieces like some places. Friends and family who’ve tried the food from here have also converted into regular customers. I do notice the prices increasing over time but I am happy to pay as the food is so good, and as long as the quality stays good then it’s fine. Been inside various times and it seems like a very lovely family running the place. Was surprised to see a few low star reviews. Meat content has always been generous, everything cooked fresh in-front of you. Definitely give it a go, best Chinese in North West Leeds without a doubt.

Best Chinese around! It’s fairly cheap compared to other places and the portion sizes are absolutely huge! We got a free portion of salt and pepper chips, salt and pepper chicken wings, as well as free spring rolls. Super impressed with this place.
